dream of omnipotence and mistakes
I dreamt that I was this guy whose appearance was similar to L from Death Note or Jintan from Anohana (who I thought looked similar to L at times) anyway he had the black messy hair and a plain shirt and jeans. I was with this silver-haired girl in a white dress (who resembled Menma from Anohana; I was recently watching this show, which could explain why I dreamt these characters). Apparently we both knew we were in a dream, being aware strange things could happen anytime and frightened by nothing, and doing whatever we wanted. I was running around so fast for fun, but my silver-haired friend told me to stop running so fast, and as she did, a gigantic fat pig appeared out of nowhere in front of us and made a large THUMP and it hit the ground. As someone who knew how dreams worked, I concluded through his POV that running too fast made strange things happen.
I stopped running and laughed and said to the girl, That wasn't fast! I go way faster than that, or something similar. After that, we held hands, and the girl jumped and she was floating; flying. I followed the same, jumping and then floating and flying. We flew over a night city. Suddenly, as we lost our ability of flight, the dreamscape evidently changed; as in I actually witnessed the changes, as I normally don't notice when surroundings change in my dreams. The sky was lighter and we were way, way, way higher up in the sky, plummeting to a grassy surface with us facing the sky (we were previously facing the ground). We were still holding hands, and I think the girl was panicking. I wasn't too worried; I snapped my fingers in a way that implied releasing a parachute. I did it hurriedly, and it took a couple of tries before an invisible parachute (??) slowed us down. We still hit the ground with a large impact, but it felt thrilling to land like that.
Here's what interested me in this dream: I can't remember exactly if I saw this before I unleashed the parachute, or if it appeared as we were about to land, but on the green landscape we were landing on, the word, "WE" was on it, in big white letters. To add on to that, as we did land, I felt that I changed the dreamscape with my mind, and saw it transform again too. It felt the same way as I do when I visualize images in my head when I'm thinking about my stories or reading books. I--not the guy--remembered thinking at that point in the dream something like, "Nah, I think I want the landscape blue," and that's when the green grassy landscape transformed into a blue grassy landscape, or at least I think it was grassy. Can't remember too well, but it was blue.
The next portion of the dream I dreamt I was Luxette (from story, Faint). I think she might've been a little different, probably older, or simply looking way worn out, b/c earlier today I drew her, and realized she was somehow different in the dream. It was certain though that she was unhappy. In Faint, she resides in a gigantic castle mansion thing, and while in the dream she was somewhere fancy and elegant, it was not the same place, I believe. This place in the dream though, was where she resided, for the dream situation told me she had left for a while to do something, and had just come back with bad feelings. Being her, I was also able to conclude that prior to her departure she had come to a disagreement with Tresphir (from story Faint, who resides in the same place as her in the story too) about something. She had left to prove him wrong, whatever it was. Now that she was back, she was thinking to herself, "I shouldn't have done that." She may have uttered it more than once. There were a lot of people in the fancy place, almost like a party--it even looked like a formal party. Throughout the time, Luxette was trying to avoid Tresphir, who had brown hair (but is rlly blonde) and was wearing a suit.
As Luxette, I was standing nearby a couch with some random guy with my back to Tresphir b/c he was approaching. I was hoping to appear as another unimportant party guest, but unfortunately Tresphir came to greet the guy that was standing near me. He had a clear view of my face and he recognized me; I knew this because I was walking away very fast to get away but he called me out before I could leave. He was immediately angry at me, greeting me and asking how I had done. There was some exact dialogue here, but I can no longer remember (which makes me angry!) All I know is that as Luxette, I said that she was able to do it or prove it or whatever. I clearly remember Tresphir giving me a scornful look and saying, "Oh yeah?!" and I retorted, "Yeah!"
As always in my dreams, there's a "something" that I don't know about; I had no idea what Luxette set out to do.
